Amy DeGraeve graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature and Language. She attended law school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and received her Juris Doctor degree in 2004. She received her LL.M. in Taxation in 2006.

Amy is the author of "United States v. Craft: Pulling the Stakes from Under the Tenancy by the Entirety" published in the Spring 2003 volume of the UMKC Law Review. Amy was a Teaching Assistant for the legal writing program during law school. She is the 2003 recipient of the Estate Planning Prize, Non-Tax Division, given by the Kansas City Estate Planning Symposium Committee.

Presently, Amy is an associate at Vold & Morris, LLC law office. She limits her practice to basic corporate and LLC business matters, and to estate planning, including wills, trusts, probate, inheritance tax, estate tax and elder law.

Amy was born and raised in the Kansas City area. Amy is an occasional guest on Peter Newman's "Moneyline" on 980 KMBZ-AM radio.
